Hey Guys, my bandsaw is getting very worn and was not that great in the beginning so I am looking for a new saw. I don't nor do I plan to do any re-sawing. The toughest job I see is splitting a mahogany neck in two so I don't need a really big saw but I do want it to be pretty acurrate in it's cut, my current saw is rather sloppy in the blade guides. Anyway, I have had good luck so far with Grizzly stuff so I'm thinking of giving it a try. Have any of you used this model. Grizzly G0555John How38880.6123148148

Nice saw for the money. It should do what you want. I say go for it.

Looks good to me John. Comes with the Carter style ball bearing guides as standard equipment. I have these as an addon to my Jet, and they are a joy. Looks like the riser block is pretty reasonably priced too. You may want to get that, just "in case" you do want to resaw a little at some point.
