I'd like to get a few pieces (or more) of koa neck stock, preferably with very good curly figure, but lightly figured would be okay. Pieces that are at the very least 3/4" thick by 2" wide, but preferably 7/8" thick or more by 3" wide or more. I could use various lengths, depending on how I construct the necks. My immediate need is for an instrument smaller than a guitar, so I wouldn't even necessarily need any pieces as long as a typical guitar neck shaft.
Another option might be black acacia, if I could get some that would be a pretty close color match for typical curly koa binding, or if I could get some matching curly black acacia binding with the neck stock (or stock that is big enough to allow me to cut some bindings as well as the neck out of).
