Looking for a pick guard for my new Johnson L-Style (like a Nick Lucas Special Gibson L-00).
LMI & StewMac have some inexpensive Martin dreadnought type, but I think that might be too big since the waist of the L-Style is rather narrow.
Anyone have any recommendations of what to use? This top is smaller than a 000, and has a really narrow waist. LMI has some other choices, but are more expensive in the $20 to $30 range. The guitar was only $149, so I don't want spend a lot.
Is it that hard to make one myself?

HI Chris,
You can buy a sheet of Clear Self Adhesive Pickguard Material from stewmac and cut your own.

Lance,
Thanks for the input.
I am hoping I can find one of those tortoise or black Martin style pickguards that will fit. Or find a source for the tortoise material that is cheap. LMI has a tortoise material, but it is about $30.
Regards,
Chris
