Arts Fair on the Square, Bloomington Area Arts council and Traditinal Arts Indiana present "Crafting Sound: Indiana Instrument Builders" 10:00 - 6:00 on Saturday, June 17 on the Square in Bloomington, Indiana.

Instrument makers will demonstrate and interact with festival visitors. The TAI staff will facilitate group discussions, performances and a narrative stage for artisans.

Artists include:

    Guitar maker Randy Lucas
    Tamburitza maker Milan Opacich
    Ukulele Maker Geoff Davis
    African drum maker Julius Adeniyi
    Drum maker Roy Spight
    Fiddle and mandolin maker Larry Hopkins

Since both of our posts are huddling down here at the bottom of the page, unregarded, orphaned, summarily dismissed, I'll give yours a bump!

Hope you had a good time at your show. Sounds like a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to the Bluegrass festival tomorrow in Grass Valley. It's a beautiful area of California, just into the Sierra foothills - big trees and clean air.
