Okay which one of you beat me to the Robbie O'brien videos on Technical Video Rental.com? I went to rent his build a steel string guitar and Guitar Finishing and they are out of stock. They said they have multiple copies and they are all out for rental. Now i'm sorry that I posted about this sight last month. Now I have to compete with all you guys for trying to rent these good videos. I'm a patient man I can wait.

Great idea Rod, that way you'd have it all the time as a great reference video!

I like to rent first buy later. I have bought a lot of disapointing dvd's in my life. If I like, I buy if not I thank God I didn't waste my money.

Sorry Michael, i respect your choice but knowing how dedicated Robbie is to his craft, i just thought it was worth buying right away, FWIW, everyone who saw his videos have just great reviews and comments, i did not see them yet but i will certainly buy them in great confidence when i get a chance, just a thought.

Robbie's DVD pm finishing is outstanding. I got mine on the OLF Auction a while back and I tell you, no risk taking on this one. I use it as a reference on all my finishing work and with his help feel good about attempting any of the approaches as well. Explains everything about everything and very well done.

You can get Robbie's DVDs from Apprentice Publishing. There is also a link at Luthier Suppliers, one of our sponsors.

wow! I need to check the OT forum more often. Thanks for all the compliments about my DVD's. There is a link on my site www.obrienguitars.com where you can download some clips from each of my dvd's. You can also link to my publisher's site directly from mine to purchase the DVD's. They are also available from LMI
If anyone ever needs more info or has questions about anything presented in my DVD's feel free to contact me.
Happy Building!
