Wow! That is one cool looking saw! Nice fence, too. What kind of blade do you have on there? |

Thanks guys, I wasn't really planning to do any re-sawing but I figured hey I'm 55 years old and I might not remember that. So why not get a saw that could do a little just in case, ya just never know when you might run across an old piece-o-brazilion. I mostly just wanted to be able to resaw the neck center piece which is what you see in this picture and to cut neck blanks in half. I just bought a couple extra blades from Grizzly and this one is a 3/4" 3 tooth skip. It cut the 5" thick maple just like it should. That fence is pretty cool to, the tall part comes off with the twist of a knob and the whole thing just lifts off when the clamp is released. Now I gotta clean up the shop a bit. |

Oh man, saw envy! John, that looks like an awesome saw. Congratulations. If you should get some billets in the mail soon, just resaw them and return to sender! ![]() ![]() Jeff |

Alan, some time ago you asked about using my bandsaw for some resawing and I told you my saw probably wouldn't handle it. If you still need that done, shoot me a PM, I think we can do it now. John |

Wow! I'm a Laguna devotee, but I could easily be tempted with that machine, if only for the fence!!! Very nice. Kevin |
