I'm going as an attendee...that's why I can't make it to Bob's gathereing, can't do two weekends in a row. I'm realy excited to meet some fellow OLFers. There seem to be a few guys liste on the Newport website. Should be neat! |

I hope to make it for Sunday anyway. It will be great to see some of you and your work. I hope to have my latest SJ finished to bring although I don't expect to bring it in to the showcase room. I would'nt want to cross Yukon, he is much bigger than me. See ya, Wade |

Hey Wade, keep that guitar at home....they won't let you in the door with it. They have a special room set up to procure any instruments that may stray in....like a coat check, you can have it back when you leave. |

I saw Newport in the title and got exited for a minute. I was hoping it was Newport Or. unfortunately RI. would be a bit too far for me. Have fun! P.S. My first post! I finally stopped turkey lurking and rubber necking the forum.(Mattia should be proud of me  )

Builder workshops...There are three that look great...one taught by Kevin Ryan, one by Ervin Somogyi, and the other (for folks beginning to get into building guitars) taught by Harry Fleishman. The price on these is very reasonable at $20 per class. If you're going, try to avail yourselves of these opportunites. |

Oh, I plan on availing away! I do have to make one concession to the GF and go see the Indigo Girls at the Folk Festival on Sunday. The price we pay I guess. |

I plan to be there Friday and Saturday. I hope to ferret out as many OLFers as I can, just to say hi and put faces with names. Maybe in 2 years I'll feel my work is good enough to be an exhibitor, but it's just such rare air! It's humbling, to say the least. Craig S. |
