Niagara Falls-Any tips?

Hi Folks,
Heading to the Falls,(Canadian side), tomorrow morning bright and early for the rest of the week.

I've got tickets to see Cirque Niagara, maid of the mist, and others. My wife and son,Josh-7years old.

Any suggestions or must see thangs?

How about this. You can be the first person to go over the fall's on a Drednought.

Paul have a great time. The Maid of the Mist is really cool for all ages.

Here's a couple more suggestions...

For the 7 year Old:
- Marine Land (couple miles from the Falls)
- IMAX (history of the falls - walking distance from the falls)
- Niagara on the Lake - the fort, cycle the Niagara Parkway -- nice safe paved bike paths
- Butterfly Conservatory (just outside Niagara Falls on the way to Niagara on the Lake)
- Bird Avery
- Niagara River Jet Boat ride (might be a little to scary for the youngster) - leaves from Niagara on the Lake

For Mom:
- Niagara on the Lake (nice shopping,good eats and the Shaw Festival - George Bernard Shaw)

For Dad:
- Niagara on the Lake - winery tour (you'll need a drink) - Peller Estates does tours and is a great place to eat

I don't know if you've made hotel reservations yet -- I would avoid Niagara on the Lake as it is way over priced -- better deals in Niagara Falls.

My new bride and I visited The Falls in 1967 on our honeymoon. I also remember our clothes being stolen out of our 1966 Ford Galaxie overnight in St. Louis on the way. It's funny now but wasn't at the time.

Hi Guys,

Paul- Already back. Sorry we'll miss you!
The sad part is I'm only 1.5 hours from Montreal and can not make it! So many inlays, so little time!

I'll post some pics after some R&R.
(Why is it you're ready for a vacation...when you return from a vacation?!)
