They are closing down the Sears hardware store outlets here locally and there are many bargains to be had. I stopped in on the way home from work today and had an attack of T.A.S.
Although I was sorely tempted to get the 15" floor standing drill press, I relented and did pick up a set of Freud 1/2" shank router bits for 30% off, a 1/4" up-spiral bit for 25% off, and the real bargains were in the hardware area where all of the bolts, nuts and screws were 50% off.
I picked up many threaded inserts and also about a dozen 1/4-20 x 5/8 barrel nuts and the KD allen-head bolts to match. Also picked up some new all-thread for my go-bar deck.
I inquired about a laminate trimmer but they had already sold out.... shucks..
