Okay, so I'm selling stuff from my OLF table, but I've only bought wood from others, never sold it. Where do you get your cardboard, etc., to pack up B&S sets? I just tossed out a bunch of boxes, so I can't recycle stuff that was used to ship stuff to me.

boxes are about $2.20 each, good for shipping a back and side set. They have tape too. A case will last forever but it's so cheap that way. I like heavy tape, but the thin stuff is all that's required for regular shipping, so I bought a box of that, comes with a free dispenser.

They deliver ground, takes a few days but they ship from various points around the country. www.uline.com

I use ULine as well. They even sell acoustic guitar boxes! About six bucks apiece. Stout, too. At 50" long, however, I found this length to be about 4" more than I needed, plus it puts the overal dimenions right at the limit that shippers use (108", a combination of length plus girth) before a carton is deemed oversize. So I cut the boxes down, which still leaves plenty of room for styro peanuts on either end of the case.

I just used one to take a new guitar on a little plane ride last week from Houston to Connecticut and back. Both the box and guitar survived the experience nicely.

I could use a good source for 1/2" bubble wrap. ULine and others have it but the freight is a killer.

Lately I've been using esupplystore.com for everything except guitar boxes. For those I first try dumpster diving at the local Sam Ash, and if the dumpster is empty I drag out one of the ULINE guitar boxes stashed behind my couch.

I'm probably going to have to give up dumpster diving though, 'cause I'm getting too fat to climb back out.

Actually I do have two more sources: The Sony BigScreen TV dealer for huge cardboard panels. (Temporary Spray Booth) And Taco Villa on Friday or Saturday nights, all the moving size boxes you can haul off.

Still, for tonewoods, back and side sets, and tops, it's best to go for the ULINE fit. Just grab it and go. Without the two inches of cushioning, no carrier will honor a shipping claim.
