Summer has finally settled in here in Texas. And you know it takes a lot for a Texan to admit that. We're in the triple digits now, and I wonder if you guys way up north could leave your back door open? If you could share with us a bit of that cooler air we would be most grateful. Thanks, Steve |

Yeah, same story here in New England, although it cooled off a little last night due to some cloud coverage, but no rain. Really hot this morning outside. Air conditioners will be running on high today I fear. I'm terrified of seeing the electric bill this month... On the other hand, normally I would escape the heat by going to the basement workshop, but the dehumidifier has been heating things up down there, so not much relief there. |

Well it's a balmy 77 deg. in Buffalo this morning. Forcast high of 89 and 92 tomorrow. My basement shop is cool with AC.

Steve, Maybe you should head south? Down here in Houston, the high temps haven't broken the 90F mark yet. Been like that all week. Humidity is up in the 70s, though. I see that the weather channel is forecasting a high of 94F for today and tomorrow, though. Oh well. Had to happen sooner or later. Thankfully, once it starts getting hot down here, the humidity tends to plummet. Best, Michael |

you guys are making me feel good!! I am looking at a job in Palmdale CA which has been tripple digits for a week or so,, thought maybe i was crazy for thinking about it. but it seems everyone is experiencing the same thing. Anyone have some insight in the area (palmdale) let me know what you think of it... I know its a dry heat. Which means when its 105 degress it only feels like 105..

HOT, HOT, Another problem alot of us in agriculture (hobby as well) are having is this heat and no rainfall to speak of we are not producing hay crops for winter and our pastures are burning up as well. Keep all the farmers and ranchers in your thoughts and prayers as well, without some breaks, this could really become a problem for alot of folks who make their living this way. ICK!!! I hate it when it's really hot. So,here you go guys... 71 degrees with the scent of honeysuckle, lillies & 50 varieties of roses wafting in on a cool ocean breeze!(You shouda asked a few days ago... we had over a week in the 60s with gale force winds and a real frog strangler of a rain storm) The dehum's been working overtime, but I'll take that, any day, over what you guys are suffering throught. |

This reminds me of why I like this place; 72 degrees, sunny, humidity 52%, sunrise at 03:44, sunset at 23:02... I'm on vacation, and this year we had the good sense to stay at home and enjoy this beautiful place. Come on over! Trondheim |
