I have a friend with a Seagull and one of the tuner knobs is slipping on the shaft. Do those replacement knobs that Stewmac sells work pretty well, the ones you apply with heat?

My main question, though, is who manufactures those tuners for Seagull? Is it possible to find a drop in replacement that wouldn't require reaming or drilling new holes for installation?

Hi Jon,
The Seagull people are very good about warranty repairs.
If your friend is the original owner just send the tuner and they should replace it.

I'll suggest that... I'm not sure if he is the original owner, but maybe they'd still help him out.

I think Seagull will be able to supply one, they look like GOTOH Minis.RussellR38919.8267592593
