Would someone be so kind to set forth the changes that have to be made to construct the OLF OM and the OLF S/J?Thanks

You will need to shift the bracing and sound hole for the scale length.

I told you last night that I would post a pic of the change to the OLF SJ back X bracing here it is. This helps support the dome on the 15 1/2" lower bout's edges better. The fingers perpendicular to the apex of the lower bout are 5/16"-3/8" wide x 5/8" tall. The X is now 90 degree intersection.

You will have to redesign the brace locations, but don't move the soundhole the entire distance. It will look funny dropping below the waist by too much. Instead, try taking off one upper fret (20th) from the fingerboard and only moving the sound hole the distance between the normal 13 and 14th fret spacings. Draw it out on paper, full size, to get a feel for the look and positioning. Also, go check the Martin Norman Blake model. I believe that has a 19 fret fingerboard to accomplish what I just outlined.
Also...consider a 24.9 scale length to help with soundhole postioning.

Excellent advice. Hank, I printed this out for inclusion in my hard copy file. I just may want to build a 12 Fret too someday.
