The Genesis is coming along...
Slowly but surely...

tonight I'll glue on the top and start working on the neck. If everything works out I'll have this one ready by the year 2010

I guess Zebra. Hey,Peter stop right there. That's pretty enough to hang on any wall. Maybe print a pic for framing then build that baby. It's gorgeous. Are those port holes in the back braces? I think you can safely cut up to one third of a framing member.Dickey38928.9593634259

You're off to an exceptional start, Peter! The Zootman somehow came up with the best zebrawood I've ever seen, in pictures or in person. Everybody else's looks like a UPC sticker.

Thanks Dickey!

I drilled some holes on the back braces for decoration and to reduce weight a bit!

Nice work Peter! I like those back braces. It's fun to carve them with the little finger plane, isn't it? It's one of my favorite things WTG

Love that Zebrawood! What are you using for top wood?
I finished a Zebrawood Jumbo last winter... It's a real eye catcher & it sounds truly awesome.
Keep it up, & by 2010 you'll have one outstanding guitar!
Just be carefull when scraping the Zwood... The early wood tears easily. Keep them scrapers sharp.
Good luck with the rest of the project.
Cheers,   Dan

Peter,

Beautiful work!

I am very anxious to hear your thoughts about how the zebrawood sounds.
