Yep, I had a bi-lateral nerve release last year that didn't seem to fix all the problems with my hand's. So after a few test a alot of bull I found out that I have Cubital Tunnel Syndrome. So here in the next couple of weeks I'm looking at another surgery to fix that. The Doc say's 3 months before I can return back to full duty on my full time job. I'm not sure about the guitars, since workers comp is paying for it I figured I better not ask ![]() |

I had my carpal tunnel fixed surgicaly about 15 years ago and it's been good since with no problem. Before I did that I couldn't play guitar more than 30 seconds or so before my hand would go numb so it was well worth it for me. Best wishes for your surgury. |

Dave I'm kind of an oddball when it comes to lutherie, I don't actually play guitar, as a matter of fact I do good to play the radio sometimes. ![]() Mike, The prayers are much appreciated John, I think I'm an oddball when it comes to this also I had the CTS surgery over a year ago on both hands & it still doesn't seem to be doing much better. This time it's the ulnar nerve, it's compressed at the elbow & it's affecting my grip strength plus some other goofy stuff. It's all conducive to my line of work, I only have 3 years left till I retire. So I only have to hold out just a little bit longer. Thanks for encouragement guys. |
