I have seen some beautiful braced tops on this forum and some include little diamonds or diagonal squares on the tops between the bridge plate and the tail end of the top that are independant of the bracing struts but appear to contribute to tuning or the tone of the top. Can anyone post a link or fill me in on what these do and how and why and.........and.......
