I just returned from an event at Copper Mountain in Colorado called Guitar Town. It is an annual two day event of live outdoor music and an auction to benfit charity. Last year I donated a classical guitar to benefit Eric Clapton's charity. Tickets were 28 bucks for last year's show. This year tickets were free!! That's right and I was able to see Laurence Juber, Tommy Emmanuel and the John Jorgenson Quintet on the same stage in the same afternoon!! WHAT A SHOW!! It doesn't get much better than that! |
