Here's my 4th. It was finished in June, but after assembly I noticed some lacquer adhesion problems. After consulting the experts here, I ended up stripping the back and sides and part of the top and respraying it. Hopefully no further complications. Specs: .110 Sitka top, .090 Padauk B&S, Ebony bindings and backstrip, Olivewood rosette, 24.625 scale, 12" radius fretboard, oil finished neck and parabolic bracing. #3 which I now see has some of the same adhesion problems - no more sanding sealer for me - was kind of dressy so I wanted to make this one a little more plain, although I did manage to sneak in LMI's gold tone frets. The wood rosette and the paduak was a first for me as was the ebony bound neck - yes, stew macs cutter is awesome. Since it was already together when I resprayed it, I was able to play it while the back and sides cured. Sounded kind of strange at first. Great mids and highs and really strong open string harmonics but not much bass response. Thought maybe it was the paduak, but this weekend I took a little off the X braces and it really opened up. Very happy with the sound and playability, still working on my cosmetics. First time posting pics, so I hope I don't make a mess of it. Thanks for looking.
