I have run across some unmatched spruce tops at a very cheap price. The size of the tops would work as either top, back or sides for a ukulele. It may be an uneducated question, but could you use the spruce tops for all sides of the ukulele? The thought had never occurred to me until I found this deal. Could the spruce be bent for he sides?

Thanks

Philip

Another one of our members, Mike Collins, is just about to put togther two all Lutz Spruce Flamenco's. Didn't Torres use paper mache on an experimental guitar? David Webber, a Vancouver guitarmaker, has a guitar with oriented strand board (chip board) back and sides. Sounds wonderful!!
