I have run across some unmatched spruce tops at a very cheap price. The size of the tops would work as either top, back or sides for a ukulele. It may be an uneducated question, but could you use the spruce tops for all sides of the ukulele? The thought had never occurred to me until I found this deal. Could the spruce be bent for he sides? Thanks Philip |

Another one of our members, Mike Collins, is just about to put togther two all Lutz Spruce Flamenco's. Didn't Torres use paper mache on an experimental guitar? David Webber, a Vancouver guitarmaker, has a guitar with oriented strand board (chip board) back and sides. Sounds wonderful!! Shane |
