Well no balloons but I wanted to share this photo of my 1,000th client since I opened my shop 2 1/2 years ago.
I am also about to hit the 3000th guitar That seems like alot of work but it feels really easy.
His name is Bruce Helgeson from Anderson South Carolina, he is a very nice guy and he is holding a Hamer Newport and I am holding his 1988 Gibson L4ces. Both needed lots of fretwork.
Thanks to the OLF I have a nice place with good folks to share this with!
When he left my wife gave me a big hug and congratulated me for bringing home the bacon so successfully these past few years. Mmmmmm bacon....

Evan, just go back to your picture file in your hard drive and right click on this picture, then select which photo-editor you have and resize from there to 500 X 333 pixels, save it and then come back to your first post here and edit it with that reduced pic!

Hope this helps!

Serge

Best,

Michael

Hey, congratulations Evan. Fantastic.

BTW - where are you in NYC??? Never know, I might drop in some day. I am from Amsterdam, about 30 miles west of Albany. I get down to the city once or twice a year. Maybe I'll bring you a bunch of guitars to fix All my mistakes

I had the pleasure of meeting Evan last year at ASIA, and all I can say is it could not have happened to a nicer guy. If I remember correctly he also worked for a number of years as a repair guy in one of the big shops in NY, so he knows his stuff. Keep up the good work!

Well done Evan

You could not have had that many customers through your door in 2 1/2 years unless you were doing something right. The best thing is though, that the more times a customer leaves smiling, the more will beat a path to your door through word of mouth. And for those who can stay on the right side of it, word of mouth has always been the greatest marketing tool of all.

Cheers

Kim
