Woowee!

I just opened some of my Auction wood I purchased from the Zootman. I believe I am close to cornering the market on Ambrosia Maple. Man o Man is this stuff nice. Ever since I saw the Steve Kinnaird finished product in person I fell in love with the stuff. I thought I would post some pics for all to see.

Here are the sets of Ambrosia and Pink Ambrosia

Here is a really nice WRC top I got as well

I also purchased some orphan sides for bindings, Anigre Curly, Cocobolo and Ancient Flamed Kauri

Bindings - Curly Purple heart, Mahog a Lam, Snakewood and Walnut with Maple Purf.

Life is good!
If I ever receive that much fantastic zoot in one shipment I would want to spread it all out on the floor and roll in it......
Great line, Hesh...one of the funniest I've read in a long time. And, it's one I totally identify with.

Mike--good for you, bud! Looking at your wood, I can tell that Bob was holding out on me as far as sides go! Those are wild!

You'll love working with the stuff. Oh, and it makes a pretty good guitar, too.

Steve

Serge, I am serously thinking of just becoming a wood buyer, not selling any, just buying so it can be mine, all mine, hohohahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa. It is really nice stuff, all of it. The Zootman really comes across some exceptional wood.

Mike, i get reactions like this everytime i receive a package through the mail, i grab it from the mailman's hands and i rush to the shop while laughing like this through the hallway, i've scared quite a few grannies since last year! Thank God they make 'em Pacemaker strong nowadays!
