I was speaking to a friend this a.m., a fellow luthier- type friend, who had purchased the same brand epoxy I had trouble with, and from the same store. The interesting thing to me, is that the had the SAME results. His epoxy would not set up either. Did exactly what mine did. (Stayed a gooey, sticky mess.)
Now, I would suspect poor technique from my clumsy hands, but not from his. Maybe it was a bad batch afterall.
So now I feel a bit better, and want to share this with all who think much less of me than they used to do.
