Dave had knee surgery this past week and will be out of commission for a while. I just wanted to extend the Best wishes of the Luthiers Forum to Dave.

Daivd, Get well soon. I've heard that knee injuries are the most common reason luthiers have to retire so early.

We noticed you weren't popping in. Hey Dave, good luck with the therapy and recovery. I'm completely amazed with the tremendous success orthopedic surgery gives today. Friends and loved ones are back on their feet in no time with much improved function. Good luck and God's speed to you, Bruce |

Heal well & quickly David. Although you may need to stand to comfortably build guitars, I'll bet you can sit at the computer with your recently repaired knee & visit this forum constantly during your recovery.

Hi David--If it's not too late you might want to have them install a grease zerk on that knee. Nothing beats a weakly shot of lithium to prevent excessive wear and tear.
