Ok, so I am a few days late, so what

Well folks, this is my 500th post in a year, almost to the day. And if were going to mention posting pace, that make me to Surge what a VW is to a Ferrari.

Anyhow, I just thought it appropriate to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your input to this community. You guys and girls have really helped me so much toward reaching a goal I have harboured for years.

Thanks to all of the advice and support afforded me by the OLF, I am now very close (depending on your perspective that is ) to actually starting to build a guitar, instead of just repairing the suckers.

With the help of some great group buys, (thanks John Watkins and Shane Niefer) and by utilising some of our great OLF sponsors, particularly Tim Spittle from Australian Tonewoods and Steve Roberson from Colonial Tonewoods (thanks guys, dealing with you is like dealing with a brother, you can always be relied upon to not only do the righty, but to do the absolute best you can for your customers and then some) I have been able to set up shop with some quality tools and some amazingly good zoot.

Above all else, the OLF has given me a great bunch of mates to share a laugh and some times even a tear with. So to me, a very happy OLF birthday it is indeed.

Thanks Lance, Brock and Don for all your hard work, its a great party.

Cheers

Kim

Carlton, if she ever find out how much it has cost me, probably a very small but very pretty dog box for me to live in.

Thanks all and cheers

Happy birthday, Kim!

Seems a lot of us signed in for the first time in that period, I just checked and it seems I joined August 27th, so my B-day is just two days from now!

I'd like to pile on with a big THANK YOU to the people who organize this special place on the web, the sponsors but most of all to all the members who make it what it is. I consider you all my friends; it is a beatiful thing to be able to communicate peacefully about something as human as musical instruments, from all cornes of our not so peaceful world.
