Hesh, What a clever tie-in!

I like the presentation too. It exhibits:

1. Hesh's multi-faceted talent.
2. A themed presentation.
3. Use of natural materials (water and wood).
4. Only Hesh would post something like THIS!

BOTW was Simon and Garfunkle's last song they recorded together. It also cause much strife between the two.

Hesh is moving his building out of the bathroom. Let's all hope his success follows the path of Simon and not Garfunkle.

Very nice design Hesh!

Very nice job John! You do great work

nice looking bridge design...
I was reading the book on wayne henderson and saw that his guitars have the bridge pin holes in an arc like these ones and was wondering if there is any advantage to do this rather than in a straight line ...

or is it just asthetic.....because i do like the look of it.
cheers grant

I'm glad you like them, Hesh. This was the first part I've made relying completely on a 3D probe scan of the original, and despite a couple of hiccups I think it went pretty well. I didn't have the original to compare the finished parts to, but hopefully they're very similar.
...he bridge pin holes in an arc...
Grant,

It keeps the holes from running straight along a grain line, thus preventing a possible split in the bridge. Some people run the holes in a slant, parallel to the saddle.

Hesh, I am a big fan of your bridge design! Those look very nice. I am also a fan of just about everything I have seen from John's CNC. Are these sort of things pretty pricey?

Great looking bridges Hesh! You better be careful, those bridges are in the perfect spot for my 6-year old son--that's about exactly where he would put a wash coat on!
Might want to go with the new Tidy-Bowl Zoot collection...colors to match mahogany, EIR, maple, and coming soon...BRW. Just when you get out of bathroom luthiery, everyone else wants in...
You know, when I special ordered my farm sink for the kitchen and new bath fixtures, Kohler was developing a new bathroom line....maybe Hesh, has been "moon" lighting... Jeanne38955.6909027778
