I received an e mail from Nancy at Ameritage. Here is what she said Hi Andrew, This is the quote for the Small Jumbo Guitar Case. As you see, price is the same for any quantity of 6 or more. This is due to the set-up time in production. So, we can receive the orders from different clients and we will deal with payment and shipment individually. To keep this special luthier price, we would need to produce the quantity at the same time. For each case, we would need a ship to address and pre-payment of 50% to produce, 50% plus freight when the case ships. Thanks Nancy A pict will be attached below if you haven't seen one. They are awesome cases I am not quoting the price, but you can PM me and I will give it to you. What I would like to do is let Nancy know of a date in which all orders would be in by. The price is higher for less than 6. That is for the total order, not an indivdual order. I am sure we can get 6 cases ordered which will guarantee us the lowest price even if you only want one!!! Let me know your interests and I will email her a list of people and number of cases. Also, if you are interesed I can give you her email and phone number to give her your specific address and payment info. |

I am thinking of putting a deadline of September 30th for all orders to be in to Nancy. I have emailed her and she will give me an approx shipping date based on this deadline. Remember, let ME know your name amd number of cases you are interested in. I will forward this to her, but each of you would have to contact her separately prior to the deadline with shipping and payment info. Thanks |

So I gather that each case will ship independently to each buyer that is cool I figured they would want to ship to a one location then leave it up to use to distribute. |

Michael, you are correct. The key for them is to be constructing all of the cases at the same time. Let me know if you want one or more!!! Currently we only have committed to 3 cases. We need at least 6 to assure the lowest price. |

With all of the OLF-SJ plans that were sold, I thought we'd be able to scrape up 6 cases in a heartbeat! This is a great deal for a top-of-the-line case that seems to be the only one that fits the OLF-SJ. I'll call Nancy to give her my shipping and payment info as soon as we meet the minimum...hopefully soon. BTW, what's the normal build & delivery time for these cases? I'm assuming 8 weeks but would love to be surprised with an earlier delivery. Thanks again, Andy! |

It took 3 months to build the build #2 project case. Only Ameritage can answer that question because their production scheduling will have to be taken into consideration |

This is an excellent case. I would take one but have already budgedet out for September and October. But give it a day or two Andy I am sure you will get 6. My guess is you will get more than that. |

Andy, thanks for the PM. I think I am going to have to pass this time. It may be a year or two before I even get one built and I have other things I could better use the money for. Like some of that curly mahogany that Hesh just posted.....mmmmmm |

Well we have commitments for more than 6 cases, so we will get the best price. I just spoke to Nancy W. at (GWW CASES) Ameritage and she will schedule production starting with 6 cases. It is easier to add to a scheduled production than to subtract, so we are starting with 6. Since we have the commitment, I scheduled production now to speed up the process. The deadline to call her will still be Sept 30th. The scheduled production date is after Sept 30th, so she will have the total prior to the beginning. On the otherhand, they are made in Costa Rica and that requires containers for shipping. If we end up adding way more than 6, some might be shipped out in a later container. Typically cases are shipped about 7 weeks after start of production. I will keep you posted, so call Nancy W. and give her your payment and shipping info. Remember the model number is AME32-OLF 866-669-8932 Thanks Andy |

More info from Nancy W Andy, We are going to produce a batch of 6 as we do with the standard Ameritage cases. The idea would be to keep a stock at the warehouse to be able to ship out as soon as an order is received. Until we have them in stock, we will list them as backorder. That way we can process shipment individually, but the price is the same. Nancy |
