What's the deal with Terrell Owens? And I don't mean him, I mean the
media. Here are the first words between an interview between ESPN and
Terry Bradshaw (hall of fame QB, Fox commentator).

ESPN: T.O.'s making the wrong kind of headlines again. If you were the
quarterback, how would you handle the situation?

T.B.: First of all I would've made sure he never came to Dallas.

Lets examine it a bit further. T.O.'s in the headlines because he's injured.
He hasn't made any outlandish comments, acted out, etc. But he's injured,
so the media's been turning it into something more. He's now ruining the
team chemistry. By? Having an injured hamstring and doing rehab. He
hasn't put a hit out on his wife, trafficed cocaine, been arrested for public
intoxication, or beat people within inches of death, but he sure pulled his
hammy; and if you're T.O., I guess that's really just the same as pulling
out a dime bag.

Bradshaw just went on the list of people I don't respect. Then again, it's
easy to think just like everyone else. Why have any intellectual integrity
when you can be average, think like a clone, and have everybody like you?James Orr38959.8370023148

I think its because he has been a "villain" in the past and the media can't let go of it. Face it, sports news is slow these days. Tiger wins another tournament. <yawn> The Yankees are going to take the AL East. <double yawn> (yes that last comment is comming from a Red Sox fan) Hockey is...wel hockey. (sorry my Canadian friends, I do like the sport but the NFL needs a major overhaul) I think the media is phishing for stories "Wag the Dog" style. In other words if there isn't any news, make it up.


The good news, James, is that the regular season starts a week from tomorrow. Then we'll have some news!

It's just media greed, anything to grab some attention.
The media is a sad state of affairs I think.
