Someone just mailed me this link, I don't know if you have seen it already.   Anyways, like it says under the video: "Now that's impressive!".

There's a guy named Tony Melendez that played on two separate occasions in chapel while I was at John Brown Univ. He was born with no arms and played the guitar with his feet similar to the guy in that video. I remember he played Tears in Heaven during his set. Pretty impressive. I guess he's even played for the Pope before back in the late 80's.

Yep. Impressive.   There used to be a man around here that played a lap steel with his feet like that. It is amazing how adaptable the human body is.

Dang, that's perseverence! Imagine, with so many people who give up trying to play guitar with two perfectly good arms and hands...and then there is this guy. Wow!

Wow,

People like this guy make me feel like such a whiner.
"My fingers are sore"
"This neck is too wide"
"This neck is too narrow"
"I'm really off today for some reason"
Or whatever fits the occasion.

What an inspiration! Reminds me of a girl I knew with no arms who did fantastic needlework and calligraphy with her feet. Really fast swimmer too, she moved like an eel in the water.

The human spirit is amazing sometimes.
