Thanks to all on the forum for the answers to my questions about clamping the top and back, and the order in which to proceed. This is an LMI kit that I bought a few years ago, and it is finally starting to take shape. It is only my second attempt, the first was done in George Morris' class last summer. Unfortunately, my wife reminded me that I need to get going on Christmas presents for the five Grandkids. Last year I got so busy, I never made any of the toys that I had planned. So guitar making is going to be set aside for a while. This forum is a great help, another post just answered my question on how to resize the image for upload! Matt |

You can sneak in a little guitar work on the side, and she'll never know. Al ![]() |

Hesh, I have had a bad case of TAS for as long as I can remember. My brothers used to get clothes and skiing equipment for Christmas, but my Dad would give me tools. He knew that they would be appreciated and outlast any of the other gifts that my brothers got. I now need to figure out how I am going to cut the binding channel. I don't have a laminate trimmer, and I think my routers are too heavy to do a precision job. I hope to get that done soon. Matt |
