I just have a question about a bandsaw adjustment. I'm trying to make the wheels on my bandsaw coplanar and I'm having a little trouble. The lower wheel is not adjustable but the upper wheel is only held on by a lock nut. Most places I have checked have suggested using washers or shims to move the wheel out to align it, the only problem is that a washer rubs against the moving parts of the bearing not allowing it to turn freely. The only way I can see that a washer would work is if it is no wider than the stationary part of the bearing that sits on the shaft. This means I would need a shim with an inside diameter of around .59" and an outside diameter of .78" which I haven't been able to find. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like you need a shimming washer 15mm ID and 20mm OD. I don't know what you can get locally, but I looked in McMaster-Carr online. They don't have exactly what you need either, but maybe close enough. If you go to the web site, type "page 3030" in the search field and take a look. One problem is you have to buy a quantity.

Maybe you could use the 14 mm ID x 20 mm OD shim and enlarge the hole to 15mm with a Dremel tool or something.TomS38380.4419212963

Here are some other supply hoses to try:
Grainger, Motion Industries, MSC or Bearings Incorporated.
