Does anyone know if a flamed redwood top will
mature over time.I'm told that time (and playing) will
affect the tone but not as musc as is the case with
spruce tops..is this true?
What happens when (if) it does mature..will the mids
be sweeter? the bass deeper? the trebles crisper?
HELP.
Also what about the back/side material...does
playing affect the tone in a similar way? The guitar in
question has qulited Spanish Cedar back/sides.
Help please all you experts out there!!!

All tops loosen up over time and the tone sweetens
