What Mirka abrasives are you folks using between coats and prior to buffing WB finishes? I called Homestead and ased for the Q-Silver abrasives [that Mike Doolin is using] and they don't have them in 5" - 8 hole for my DeWalt RO sander. He suggested 1000 & 2000 Abralon before buffing but they only have those in 6". Suggestions? |

I use the BULLDOG GOLD DISCS brand and the MIRKA ROYAL GOLD DISCS (no hole) 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, then abralon pads 2000 then 4000, you have to trim them to fit, also pickup one of the 6" interface pads, there awesome for getting into the waist areas. |
