I just tried Tracy’s neck centering jig and it is great, particularly for Archtop guitars. I thought I had my neck nicely centered on one of my builds using the old clamp a long ruler down to the neck method. Low and behold within 30 seconds I found mine was out 1/32” at the tail block. Normally I make all of my own jigs. Tracy’s for the price and ease of use makes purchasing his a no brainer. Thanks for the great jig Tracy. [EDIT: Tracy sorry for spelling your name wrong] |

Thanks Anthony and Hesh! I found that my bouzouki bridge was off about 1/64th, but I thought that was acceptable for doing it by hand. If you want more accuracy than that, my jig will deliver on its promise. Hesh, you're not supposed to test it on completed guitars, because of this very reason! ![]() So glad I could be of service, and happy building! Tracy |
