Well, there's snow on the roof of my shop this morning. It will be ime to wax the skis and hit the golf course pretty soon. That's all I know how to do on a golf course, ski.
Beautiful day to make guitars!!!

The flakes are flying outside my window as well here in Winona Lake, IN. The golf course is being covered as I sadly type

Oh no!!! Already!

It's just raining up here in the Great White North!    The temperature is falling quite a bit though... Yep, I guess it'll be Christmas before we know it!

Ah, yes. Saw a bit O' the white stuff as I trapsed across the Loop in Chicago this morning. And now it's coming down hard. My sanding bowls should be here any day, so this weekend I hope to be making my first back and top and gluing them up in the shop.

We're lucky if we get one snowfall a year, here, although we did have a white Christmas last year. Odds are against having two in a row.

I sanded and shaped my nuts yesterday (buffalo horn) and am on my way out to make matching saddles.

Paul - Wood Skis? My wife, Karen, still likes wooden skis better. For that matter, so do I! Does that make us Luddites?

It's gotten cold where I am too...the clouds are looking decidedly snowy and we are getting madly fluctuating temps too. Could be on it's way in a coupla weeks in the UK, in my estimation...

SNOW ! YES ! I wish we had some!

NOT.

Not just yet anyway.

Autumn is my favorite time of year, and it never lasts long enough for me. Just a few more weeks of it and I'll be happy.

Hey Paul,
It snowed briefly today but didn't "stick" around. Here's a look from our driveway down #2. I too, do not swing a golf club. Snow shoes and skis

It was about 20-22 deg C (68-72F) today up here in the great um...... er..... white north as it's called.

Really though I live on the west coast were we will be very very lucky to actually get cold enough to see snow.

I sure miss northern Alberta, I love snow.
