Fired up my propane today. When I went to open the valve on the big tank something scurried across my hand. Inside the big metal "cap" was a mouse nest with several tenants. I think they were less than please when I knocked the nest to the gound. |

It was so cold here on Wednesday I almost put on a sweater to walk to work from the parking lot. It was like 60! Brrrrr. We keep the snow where it belongs - in the mountains. ![]() |

Where i use to live, they did not have a truck in the village to load the snow, most of the winters, the snowbanks were about 6-8 feet high because they had to pile it up to be able to park their cars in their driveways, the landscape was rather lunar like! ![]() |

We finally got a couple of days of much needed rain, the storm hitting the east coast now I beleive. Temps are suppose to be in the mid to upper 70's here for the next few weeks. Nothing like October in the Woods of East Texas. We saw some snow flurries last year that lasted a few hours with no accumulation. If we get 1/2" down here the schools, cities and businesses shut down, no one knows how to drive in ice or snow here so we are all better off. Mike |
