I like that last one there Steve, Ah the days of my yutt. Now my ears are suffering for it, but man, it sure was fun wasn't it.

that reminds me of the sceen in Back to the future were Marty cranks up that huge amp and has that little yellow guitar. Wish I had a pic of that to add.

More in line with the thread, here's one from Judy Threet's site. Her photographer has a good eye, IMHO, some very nice compositions, though some of the lighting is a bit overdramatic for my taste. I'd love to get my hands on one of her guitars.

Judi makes AWESOME guitars. I always try yo chat with her at Newport or ASIA, because she's also a very intelligent and extremely witty person.
I think her inlay style is my favorite of all the builders out there.
Oh....her guitars sound great too!

I've always been impressed by Kathy Wingert's work. She is one of my favorite builders, making some outstanding guitars.

Lance, I know these are old Martins, and believe that they are owned by a collector with lots of other classic guitars, including a lovely D'Angelico which I also have a picture of at work. I just can't remember where I stole these pics from..if I could retrace my steps, I might be able to name the collector, but alas... Of course, what strikes me about these is that the backs of these two different models were clearly made of sequential sets of BRW and now owned by the same person. Too cool.

TJ Thompsom apprenticed with Dana Bourgeois before taking up residence w/ CF Martin, in the late 80's. He collaborated w/ Eric Schoenberg around that time producing some quite remarkable 'Soloist' OM's. He's quite the Luthier, and now does repair & restorations for the privledged...
