I've been a Tool and Die maker for over 30 years. As I started looking towards retirement I felt I needed a hobby to keep me out of the doughnut shop. So far I,ve only built acoustics guitars but would like to try some others (Archtop, mandalin, Electric....) I'm side lined right now recovering from a tendon transplant in my left hand, before my accident I was working on numbers 6 and 7. I live in a small town in Kansas

Dave, the one in the middle, is that smaller or is it a optical illusion?

Greetings Dave/Frankie! Welcome to the OLF -- it's a great place to swap ideas and enjoy more than the occasional good laugh.

Frankie I read your website bio - that's quite a background in building you have. I look forward to learning from you.

Dave - all the best for a speedy tendon recovery...how are you at typing with one hand? Nice guitars -- by the way!Anthony Z39010.9578356482

Hi, I'm Jake. Im pretty inexperienced buildwise, I have built a mountain dulcimer and have a ukulele in the works.    I have been reading the forum for a month or two now and am impressed by the work here, its stellar. Jake Francis39010.9939583333

Welcome, Dave, Frankie and Jake.

Nice guitars, Dave and Frankie! Dave, where in Kansas are you? My wife wants to know. She's from Manhattan.
