You'll love Italian Hesh, I'm just building an OM with some of Luigi's and it is just about the stiffest Euro I've ever had. With my building style (light) I think it will end up so thin you'll be able to see the braces though it.

Hesh, I truly have no problem with you painting your guitar tops my friend, if you read my post of controversy more carefully, you will see my position more clearly.

However, through assumption as apposed to comprehension, I have some how come out of this as one who is against colour or even a burst. This I can assure you is not nor has it ever been the case.

I do however question the point in choosing a AAA grade top to cover in a solid pigment given that I read time and time again from this vendor and that builder, that the only difference between AA and Master grade is in how the top presents to the eye, not the ear.

I once read something along the lines that best grade spruce is like the face of the Geisha, pale with unblemished elegance, the blank featureless canvas upon which the master expresses his will.

Buggered if I ever seen any black Geisha's

(edit) And by the way M8, this opinion will not stop me from enjoying watching this build any less than all the others I have seen you do, that is to say, I am looking forward to seeing the Black Panther come to life

Cheers

Hesh, I think you should forget the paint and cover the top with a giant carbon fiber sticker

I think that's what Fox does on that Ergo guitar... er, I think that's what he does!
