Hi Pat...yeah! Just planning a new project. It seems I'm always thinking about guitars and wood!!
I've never built anything with cedar.

One of my idols...Jonh Hammond, the great acoustic blues guitarists has recently changed guitars.
The last time I saw him he has changed guitar components. He is still playing an OM martin with a sitka spruce top. Pretty much a Martin stock model.
A very old model mahogany. Now he found someone made him an OM model with a Cedar top and really loves it. He likes the melow tone he gets when he uses his slide.
Very interested in trying that combination out myself.

take care and thanks for asking about my health,
walter

I have many such tops!
Some have been cut for 20 years!

I do not make boats and have no problem selling these fine tops !

Can I get the pics too--I don't mean to cut in line--I may be interested in a top as well, but I'll stand in line.
