Hi guys,

I need to find narrow abalone ~ 0.040" ~ strips. Does anybody know of a source? I'd prefer not to cut/grind my own. TIA,

Jim

I know Andy de Paule sells the .063 stuff. Give him a call, he may be able to get it!

Try http://www.rescuepearl.com/

I think the smallest "generally available" size will be the .047, but check Rescue Pearl sale items. Often they have leftovers of special runs that are in non-standard sizes.

Rescue Pearl sell mostly ablam and I believe some basic shell blanks.
Andy Depaule sells only natural shell. Just thought I might mention that.

Thanks for the info ... didn't realize DePaule carried the small stuff.

And Brock ... beautiful guitar!

Best,
