I can't seem to find a nice case to fit a Small Jumbo besides Ameritage which is out of the budget.

Anyone knows where I can get a case to fit the SJ for a decent price?

Dosen't Access make a case to fit an SJ? Please don't quote me on it. But I seam to recall that Michael P uses Access cases and makes SJ's.

It's hard being on the west coast some times eh Peter, many of the rest of the US members are in bed at this time of night (or sniffin' glue if you know what I meen)

Michael is the one that had the 1st OLF SJ case made by Ameritage.
After that, I started have them produced in batches. Still available, just
email Nancy at Ameritage.
Before the Ameritage, I am not sure what he used???
Hopefully he will chime in.

I contacted access but they don't make any model to fit the Small Jumbos.

Peter,
I have the OLF SJ that I'm working on in a dread case. It fits pretty well. The lower bout fits great, but the upper bout is a bit roomy. Give it a try. For a budget case, I like this tweed case. No, I wouldn't travel with it, but for carrying around town I think it would be fine. This one is a better deal.SteveS39028.0673958333

Pete the Access Small Body Stage 5 will work. It is tight but after the guitar has set in the case over night the foam will conform. That is provided you did not add extra ht to the body. you will have to remove the removable heel pad and the extra back pad. it is not the best option but works.

I had thought I had talked Access into building a case for this size but we got our wires crossed somewhere and they build a Jumbo case instead.

The TKL 9116 Arch top Arch Back is what I use for My SJ for customers who don't want to pay the extra for a Calton case. TKL lists them for $329 but I buy them through the Factory in Montreal that makes them for TKL and sell them for $135US. Shipping oif course adds another $50 or so.
