I was about to install a KK pure western in a guitar and noticed when I
opened the bulk package of pickups, all of them had 4 not 3 mini
transducers!!!

Is this something new or is it a mistake???

Help

Installing them are easy. I use a mirror inside the guitar under the bridge
against the back. I also place a small flashlight in the guitar by the tailblock.
When gluing the transducers, I just look inside the guitar via the bridge pin
holes and I can see the location on the bridge plate easily. That is the key.
DONT just do it by feel. You need to see where each of the 3 transducers
sits on the bridgeplate.

That's a great tip Andy. I will heed your advice.

Thanks.

Sometimes feel is all you have .. try installing a classical version. the small flashlight and mirror while looking thru the bridge pin holes is right in the K&K instructions. But then again, I tell my wife all the time - instructions are for people who dont know what they're doing - usually while putting together a BBQ

Nuts and bolts?! We don't need all these stinking nuts and bolts...

Ah well, that will teach me to keep the box (K&K) all closed up and sealed until I decide to install it, then.
