Tommorrow is Elections here in Ontario so I want to encourage everyone to vote. HEre in Nipigon the elections are quite exciting, In the Advanced Polls we have already had more people vote than ussually vote altogether. Really something when you consider are population has dropped by more than 10% since the last elections. |

Our last election we discovered all sorts of people who were on the Voters list who had been dead for years (some as many as 15 years). This time they tried to get the list straightened up and all sorts of people who are alive arn't on the list. One lady (one of my supporters) has voted in every election since 1959 and yet her name wasn't on the list, her father who died more than 10 years ago was though. Fortunately they have the forms right there at the polling station to fill out so you can still vote. Thanks for the encouragement Alain, amazingly after haveing started this election as an underdog and Long shot (actually, one commentator on CBC said I didn't have a shot) This weeks polls are showing me way out in front. I'm just hoping my supporters don't start thinking it's in the bag and stay home ![]() |

Richard... way out in front! Right on! For sure, let's hope all your supporters in the poll go out to vote... Should be a landslide! Let us know how it turns out... |

Good luck, Richard. OLF members cover a wide range of occupations, but I think you'd be our first Mayor. ![]() |

I for one ask that you vote wisely! As an American that believes we should stop all this foolishness about independence and join Canada where we belong, your votes mean a lot to me! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
