after what seems like an eternity, I got this one strung up yesterday.

This one is a Sapele / bear claw Sitka florentine cutaway OM. This guitar is an OM but with a drednaught body depth which was my customers request. Sapele rosette, dovetail neck join, brazilian f-board and bridge, ebony bindings with miterd white lines, faded neck burst, Waverly tuners.

it plays like butta! I must have done something right.
thanks for looking

Nice job Matt!

How would you say the deeper body affects the sound?

Fantastic, Matt! Can you get some closeup pics...especially the headstock and end graft.

What finish do you use?

Finally...don't be a stranger...we hear from you all too infrequently.

Matt,

That's very nice. I like the two tone fretboard - looks very elegant. With the tree reflections on the front it's definitely an Autumn guitar!

Really nice! Even with some reflexions, I still think the photo setting is great as well. Eye candy all the way.

Matt,
That is one great looking guitar. It definently gives me something to strive for. I love the sharp cutaway. That wood isn't all that bad either . Great job!!

Thanks, Matt...more pix to save.
You continue to inspire.
That Sapele looks nearly like Snakewood--wow!

Oh yes, on your label, is that a guitar in a bottle?
I like it, even though I'm not quite sure of the significance. Can you elaborate?

Steve

Woah...that flame in the grain on the fretboard is very, very, very, classy.....

it complements the sharp curve of the cutaway, almost as if the guitar has been designed to look like a flickering fire...

A HOT guitar!!
