Nine years is a long time to go between builds,for me
lifes path is not always the way I plan it be.
A lucrative opportunity won over my passion.
Please forgive me if you can.

But on with the show!

Euro spruce top, light flame mahogony body.
Curly maple bindings. Walnut-curly maple-walnut
purflings and inner and outer soundhole rings.
Curly mahogony Rosette. Ebony FB,peghead,bridge.
Finish is "Nitro" Bone nut and saddle.
My design, sort of a small body Dread.15" lower bout.

    That's a beauty in every way. Nice shape, great woods, warm bindings and purflings....and I love that rosette!

    It's nice to hear how you were able to a take a life turn to do for you and your family, but never lost the passion for lutherie that is evident in every
detail of this guitar.

    Congrats and we'll look forward to seeing more as you build them. Welcome back.

Nicely done Tom. It's pretty apparent that it didn't take you very long to get back in the groove. I really like the contrasting bindings with the mahogany. Keep 'em coming...

Tom, 9 years and you haven't lost a step. Nice choice of appointments...it really looks great. I really like mahogany dreads..great bottom end. I'm sure it'll open up a whole bunch over the next couple of weeks.

I got ya beat, I took off about 24 years between builds and still have one uncompleted that I started oh some 26 years ago. I hear ya, life does take you down some different paths...though nice when you finally find the right one. Fun to be back ain't it and it's great to have you here!

That is a very nice looking guitar, congrats! Smaller Dreadnoughts can look very nice, I like the "Ditson Grand Concert" shape that Cumpiano builds.
