Hi folks, After speaking with the Zootman last night, I had a thought--My other passion and semi-pro hobby is making custom pistol grips. I use many types of highly figured woods--just like luthiery--After speaking with Bob it occured that the sizes I use may be scrap for you guys? If so, maybe I can buy some of the end cuts and scraps? I canuse pieces that are 2 1/2" wide by 4 1/2" in length and over 1/2" thick--these are minimum dimensions. If you tossing this stuff or burning it, I could probably use it. So if you have anything curly burly or just plain pretty--please email me.

Scott, those sizes are also good for Bridge Blanks Maybe a tad longer is all.

can be cut up for end grafts, point protectors on cutaways, rosette tiles, brace caps, side reinforcement, etc. why the mind boggles at what little pretty bits of wood are good for.

I knew they were about bridge blank size, I could actually use 4 1/4" in length. I'm know expert but I haven't seen too many different wood types for bridges--I can use any type for grips, actually rosewood and ebony are two that I don't need--not enough figure.
