I have put 2 coats on my test guitar. My plan was to NOT sand all the way to the wood (Sorry Michael P) I don't know if this is a mistake. I have noticed some very small little shiny dots which are clearly covered with epoxy but lower than the surface. Do you all recommend continuing to sand until the Zpoxy is perfectly level? Also, if you do a 60/40 coat, do you sand that level as well? |

Yes, Andy, you need to get it level. I'm guessing that these are just small pin holes that have popped, leaving a small indentation. Is this on dark wood or light wood? If dark wood, be VERY careful not to go through anywhere or you'll have to take it all down to bare wood. |
