FYI, I have ordered the Waverly's and they should be arriving this Friday.
Everyone has sent their payments except for one guy from New Hampshire who builds Mandolele's and some other very cool looking guitars. But I won't mention his name. That's ok folks, he's handing me cash when he gets back from vacation. Or else.

The good news for all you folks...

I ordered some stuff from StewMac myself, so I'm going to cover most of the shipping of the stuff to get it here.

The kind lady on the phone from StewMac was great about the order. I told her I had just a "small order" to place. Then I ordered some herringbone purfs, and then I said I'd like some Waverly tuners too......

She said "I thought this was just a SMALL order?!! "

Good fun.

Don, Great news. It's very generous of you to offer to foot most of the shipping. Another example of the quality of sponsors the OLF has. Any chance you'll have some new B&S sets up before you ship the tuners out?

Thanks again for handling the order.

Actually, we have a bunch of stuff to go up, but haven't had opportunity to photograph the sets. At this rate, it may be 2007.

On the other hand, I've decided to offer up the Quilted Sapele sets BQS-1 for $175, and BQS-2 & BQS-3 for 195 each to anyone involved in the Waverly group buy. I'll also offer free shipping for those sets (to the US) which means the Waverly's would get shipped free as well. How's that?!

Don

Cool, BQS-2 and Waverly's, I'm the luckiest boy in the world. Let me know if I'm the first buyer and I'll paypal you.

Thanks Don.

Oops, made a mistake....I meant $185 on sets 2 & 3. I had them up on the LA site for $199, so that's not much of a deal at $195. The free shipping is still in effect, but these aren't falling under the 10% sale because of this special price and the free shipping. It probably works out about the same though...

You drive a hard bargain. OK, I'll take BQS-2 for $185, the free shipping and whatever is behind door number 3.

Thanks again for the special service.

Fantastic!!! I am psyched about the "Waves and Wood" that I've got coming from Don!!!

I'm learning to check this forum more often. I've missed out on the auctions, and almost missed out on the Waverly group buy. But I got in on the Granadillo!!! Whoopee!!!
