Just finished this bridge for my new OM and I' have to say I'm rather pleased with it. I've followed Hesh's lead and gone for the stealth profile. Made from Madagascan Rosewood the blank had a thin pale line, and as it is rift cut I positioned it so that the line would be exposed as a block on the back edge. Hesh, do you think I should, in the words of Mick Jagger, 'paint it black'?

Fingerboard will also be Mad Rose.

Nice, Colin! I really like this style. Like they say, "Imitation is the best form of flattery." And while I can't really remember the exact design of Hesh's original, I'm sure the lawyers will straighten it all out!

Paint it black?? No way. Send it to Steve's customer and have him paint some koi on it!

The rosewood on that bridge looks great, I love the color variation.

p.s.- Colin, that bridge is quite nice. Well done, you!
Now--can't you just see a fish or two swimming from the color block into the deeper water?

Oh go ahead and paint it. Black lacquer.

Then send it to Hesh to go on the top of that Tiger Myrtle git...

Looks good. I really like this design. Hesh has some nice aesthetic ideas to
his work.

Hesh is the new Martin! I like the bridge and I love the wood. I just built a bridge and fingerboard out of the same stuff and I think it is great. Great Job!

Colin,

That looks really nice and flowing - I like it.

As for the Stealth Bombers - wern't they painted black underneath so you couldn't see them
